- For Your First Visit
- Arrive at least 10 minutes early.
- Discuss any concerns with instructor.
- Hydration. Up to 20 hours before you take a hot yoga class, load up on your fluids and electrolytes. Do not eat for two hours prior to a class.
- You also want to wear clothes that you’re comfortable sweating in such as a sweat-wicking or breathable fabric, because you’re going to be sweating a lot.
- Listen to your body. If you feel hot, weak or dizzy, stop and rest. Walk into the lobby if needed and drink plenty of water and electrolytes.
